珠洲の祭り「キリコ祭り」「あえのこと」から、‘目に見えないが、確かにあるもの’を信じる奥能登の心を見た。

正院地区にあった銭湯の男湯を会場に、湯船上方からの泡が浴場を満たすインスタレーションを制作。

時間や気候によって泡はまるで生き物のように変化する。

信心のかたちを、絶え間なく溢れ、消え、また溢れでる泡によって表現した。

Inspired by Okunoto people’s belief in ‘something invisible that surely exists’ she found through the local festival in Suzu, the artist created an installation ate men’s section of the disused public Bath in the Shoin district.  Bubbles poring from above the bathtub filled the bathroom and changed according to time or weather as if they were living creatures.

The artist expressed the shape of faith by bubbles which ceaselessly overflowed,disappeared and overflowed again.              Oku-Nptp Triennale SUZU 2017
